can we find out?
Conducting polls and surveys to gather information- newspaper opinion polls, census
Types of questions in a survey- closed and open ended, multiple choice

Conducting survey and collecting data (Sample size 30; each child to interview 2 people)
Session 3 (2 periods – 40 mins each)
Tabulating data using tally tables
Representing data using bar graphs
Discussion about dangers of generalising data (since sample size is 30 and only
representative of the total population)
